1000 Backup Power Inverter & Batteries

No Power? No Problem

DoorKing’s 1000 Power Inverter is designed to provide backup power for your Gate Operator and/or additional Access Control devices when primary (AC) power fails. Unlike DC Gate Operators that can only backup the Gate Operator itself with internal batteries to run the DC motor, the 1000 Power Inverter converts DC battery power to AC power to keep all Access Control components, even those that are powered by AC Accessory Transformers, operable at all times. DC Gate Operators do not convert their battery power to AC, which renders all the additional AC-powered components of an Access Control System inoperable during a power outage or brownout.

The 1000 Power Inverter & Batteries provide reliable backup power for most aspects of an Access Control System, including Gate Operators operating a single gate, Loop Detectors, Secondary Entrapment Devices, Entry Systems, Card Access Systems, RF Controls, Traffic Control Devices, and other components.

Access Control Backup System for Power Outages & Brownouts

The 1000 Power Inverter is designed to run a multi-component Access Control System during power outages or brownouts, enabling properties to keep their Access Control up and running. The 1000 Power Inverter maintains power to all components of the Access Control System including various combinations of Entry System, Card Access System, RF Controls, etc. as well as the Vehicular Gate System including Gate Operator, Loop Detectors, Secondary Entrapment Prevention Devices, or Traffic Control devices. We recommend consulting with a DKS Dealer to understand the power requirements and backup power runtime of your particular Access Control System.

Compatible with Most Access Control Products

The 1000 Power Inverter is suitable for use with DoorKing Class I and Class II Gate Operators and most other Residential or Light Duty commercial gate operator brands. The 1000 Power Inverter is also compatible with all DKS Entry Systems, Access Control devices and Traffic Control products.

Provides Backup Power to a Single Gate Access Control System

The 1000 Power Inverter will provide backup power to a single 1 Horsepower Gate Operator or two 1/2 Horsepower Gate Operators installed at a single gate.
