In today’s busy world people often misjudge their surroundings and place themselves in harm’s way —

leading to the hassle and cost of litigation. DKS 1601, 1602, and 1603 Barrier Operators go above and beyond the established Parking Safety Standards with the 6 FlowSafe Essentials for Traffic Control, preventing damage to vehicles, pedestrians, the Operator — and a trip to the courthouse.

1. DKS Pedestrian Detection System

It knows when it’s safe to allow the Barrier Arm to come down — or not. If a person is detected the Barrier Arm reverses.

2. Warning Beeper

Beeps 2 times before lowering Arm for those times when the driver or pedestrian is not looking.

3. Lighted Signal Arms

Red LEDs glow when Arm is lowered sending a clear signal for drivers to stop. When raised the LEDs transition to green — easily alerting drivers when to pull forward.

4. Breakaway Arm Option

Reduces maintenance costs by allowing the Arm to swing out of the way in the event that a vehicle fails to stop. The System is easily reset by simply snapping the Arm back into place.

5. Reverse Edge Sensor

Senses any contact, reversing the Arm to minimize damage or injury.

6. Warning Signs & Traffic Signal

Warning signs and traffic signals are used with traffic control spikes and auto-spikes to inform drivers that a one way lane condition exist and that proceeding in the wrong direction, or before the spikes are fully retracted, will result in severe tire damage.   Warning signs and/or traffic signals should always be used in any traffic control application utilizing traffic control spikes.  The warning sign and traffic signals use LED lamps for energy efficient operation.
