Gate operator training includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, component level removal and replacement and mechanical service / maintenance requirements.

You will learn how to setup different security and permission levels for different people, how to enable elevator control, become and expert at creating reports, learn how to import and export databases in csv format and create automatic backups.  You will be provided with a mock application that will require several different permission levels to be established with time zones and elevator control, all using a combination of different access devices.

This training program is hands-on.  A Windows based laptop is required (or a Mac running Windows emulation software).

Gate Operators

The workshop is broken down into operator modules; AC operator models 6100/6300 swing gate and 9100/9150 slide gate and DC operator models 6524 swing gate and 9024 slide gate.  There is also a separate module on the 1600 series barrier gate operators.

Attendees will learn how to troubleshoot and service these operators at the component level.  This advanced training includes in depth discussions on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, circuit board programming options, installation issues, maintenance and availability and installation of optional devices such as heaters, high-voltage kits and installation options available.

This training program is hands-on, so be prepared to get dirty.  Bring your tools and test equipment (Multi-meters) that you would use in a typical work day.

* Busted Knuckles are separate workshops, you cannot attend both on the same day.  Please register for only one workshop.
