| All system expansion devices for the Access Plus system use RS-485 communication protocols. This provides a simple means of connecting devices with wire runs up to 4000 feet from the access controller. |

- The 1816 AP no phone line intercom system expands the capabilities of the Access Plus systems (except 1838) to include facilities without active phone service, and does not require a dedicated Central Office (C.O.) phone line to establish communication between the access plus system (1808 AP or 1810 AP) and a resident’s telephone. This system allows the resident to be in charge of their calls and can interface with up to 23 phone lines. Ideally suited for apartment buildings, college resident halls, and office buildings.

- DoorKing carries a full line of DKS, AWID and HID proximity card readers and cards. A unique feature of the DKS proximity card reader product line is that the card readers are compatible with both passive and active tags. This allows a mixing of different cards and tags to achieve desired read ranges in different locations without having to install a second card reader or carry two tags. All units include 16 VAC power transformer.

- The RS 485 conversion board converts 26-bit wiegand data to RS 485 data, which allows for the use of almost any 26-bit wiegand device with the Access Plus system, or an existing 26-bit wiegand device can be utilized in the system. In addition, this conversion board can be used to add an additional relay to the Access Plus system.

- The RS 485 receiver is used with Access Plus systems to provide a wireless access control option for system users. The receiver uses the MicroPLUS coding scheme, designed to provide maximum RF code security. There are over 268 million transmitter codes available, plus an encrypted sync code that changes each time the transmitter is used. MicroPLUS codes cannot be copied, making them ideal for use in security sensitive areas.
