Time Clocks & Surge Suppressors

Use time clocks for “hold open” time periods with Telephone Entry systems. Protect your equipment with surge suppressors.

Time Clocks & Surge Suppressors

Accessories

Electronic time clocks are ideal for use in applications where an access control system does not control “hold open” time periods. Surge suppressors are designed to provide additional protection to equipment in areas prone to voltage spikes and surges. Surge suppressors come with a plastic mounting bracket.

Features

120 VAC Power Line Surge Suppressor/strong>

The Model 1879 is used to protect electronic equipment powered by 16 to 120 VAC. The surge suppressor may be sacrificed during an “extreme” power spike to protect the equipment. Protection is provided from hot to ground, neutral to ground and hot to neutral.
The clamping voltage is approximately 200 volts. DO NOT connect to power lines over 120 VAC.

24 V Power Line Surge Suppressor

The Model 1878 is used to protect electronic equipment powered by 6 to 24 volts AC or DC. The surge suppressor may be sacrificed during an “extreme” power spike to protect the equipment. Protection is across the power lines and from each line to the ground. The clamping voltage is approximately 50 DO NOT connect to power lines over 24 VAC. The maximum current is 10 amps volts.

Telephone Line Surge Suppressor

The Model 1877 is used to protect telephone equipment from surges on the incoming telephone line. The surge suppressor may be sacrificed during an “extreme” power spike to protect the equipment. Protection is provided from tip to ground, ring to ground and tip to ring. The clamping voltage is approximately 200 volts. Use ONLY on standard Central Office (C.O.) Tip and Ring lines.
